On November 4, the Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS)—a key organization within the global network operator community—announced that Ma Di, Chief Researcher at the National Engineering Research Center for Internet Domain Name System (ZDNS), has been elected to its Steering Committee.
Established in 2014 by the Internet Society (ISOC), MANRS is an international community initiative dedicated to strengthening the governance of global network operations. Its mission is to promote the development and implementation of worldwide routing security standards, including route filtering and IP source address validation. Today, the organization has become a central governance platform for ensuring secure and resilient global Internet interconnection, bringing together 1,094 telecom operators, 152 Internet exchange points, 33 CDNs and cloud service providers, and 6 network equipment vendors.
